Neonfair is a time tracker for freelancers. Start a timer, file the time under a project, see where your week went and bill exactly what you worked.

This is the real timer. Start it here and it keeps running in the tracker.
Neonfair does one job: it records your hours and works out what they come to. It does not send invoices. It gives you exact numbers to put on them.

Give each project a colour, an hourly rate and a currency. Archive it when the work is done; its history stays.
Time times your rate, per project and per currency, rounded once at the end. Currencies are never added together.

Pick a week, a month or any date range. Download every entry, or one line per project, as a CSV file.
Start date, Start time, End date, End time, Duration, Hours, Project, …
Forgot to start the timer? Add the time by hand. Wrong project or a typo? Edit any entry, or delete it.
Export everything as one JSON file whenever you like, or delete all your data in one step. Nothing locks you in.
The clock counts real seconds. A total is the sum of your entries, with nothing added on top.
An amount is a project's time multiplied by its hourly rate, rounded to the currency's smallest unit once. Not line by line.
The CSV lists every entry to the second, so a client can add it up and arrive at the same hours you did.
You do not need an account. If you want the same workspace on your laptop and your phone, you can sign in with Google. Here is what each choice means.
What is kept
Kept in this browser’s local storage under
neonfair:workspace
Your workspace is saved to our database and follows you to every device you sign in on. Neonfair asks Google for the basic profile permissions (openid, email and profile) and nothing else:
What we receive
What we never ask for
We use these to create your account, recognise you when you come back, show your name and picture, and keep your workspace in sync. We do not sell them, use them for advertising or train AI models on them.
Google’s sign-in button is loaded from Google when you open the sign-in page. No other page loads anything from Google.
It is free, and there is nothing to set up.
